We must not stress one part of our lives and neglect the other aspects. We also must take time to relax. This allows us to take time for ourselvs and improve ouselves. Suppose we were cutting down a tree, if we had a dull saw and neglected to sharpen it, the cutting of the tree would take much longer than sharpening the saw. C. The habit to begin with the end in mind is a very important quality to have in a leader for many reasons. Firt it is important because a good leader should be prepared. If you begin with the end in mind then you already have an idea of what to expect and you'll be prepared for anything that comes at you. Also it is an important quality because it is about setting goals for yourself. You start with smaller goals and in the end you will accomplish a much bigger goal. (18/20)

Begin with the end in mind is about setting goal. You are support to step shot attainable goals that lead to a major goal. You always want to have a goal so that you have something to work towards. This is important in a leader since as a leader you want to achieve the most for the group you lead. Have an end or goal is ideal since it give you a will to work towards for your group that you lead. For me this is easy since in yearbook we have the goal of a making a finished book.

C. Synergy is working together with other people. A group of people working towards a goal will likely produce better results than a single person because their combined ideas add to the project. It is an imporant quality in a leader because a leader is supposed to lead a project, not control every aspect and idea of it. It is imporant to listen to other people's ideas. C) My habit is about listening to other people and not just ignoring what they have to say. It is also about what they are not saying, what their body language is telling you when they are listening to you as well. I believe this is a good quality to have in a leader because you need to understand what everyone else is saying and you need to be open and listen to other ideas. C. Habit 3 is when you wait until the right time to do something generally important. For example, if you have an important race, you're going to practice more than enough to prepare yourself until you're prepared for it. This can also take place for a test, you're generally going to study until you're ready. Finally, if you have an important decision to make, you shouldn't make it until you've spent enough time thinking about it and realized that it is the right thing to do.

You need to choose between being proactive and being reactive. Reactive is often when you choose to lash out on a person because something didn't go your way. To be proactive means that you are a person who listens to others and tries to keep a situation calm. When you and someone are in a disagreement you work together to come to a solution that the two of you can agree on. This is an important quality in a leader because if you are someone who gets worked up easily people won't listen to you as much as you would like and will only cause more issues.

I need to work on habit #6, synergizing because it's learning to accept, embrace and work together with other people. I tend to stick to what I know vs. branching out and accepting new things.

Being proactive is a good quality to have because your actions speak louder than words. If a leader acts in an inappropriate way, it can possibly cost them their career and their reputation. In those situations a leader needs to stay calm and think before they act. But a leader also can’t be a pushover, they need to demand attention, but not in a harsh way.

C. To put first things first is to make sure you are doing what is important (homework, projects) before what is urgent (text messages, interrupting conversations). To put first things first is to prioritize yourself and keep yourself organized, but also to make good decisions such as avoiding peer pressure and not letting your fear of failing keep you from trying anyway. These are good traits for a leader because nobody wants to follow a person who never has anything planned, always waits until the last minute to do everything, and falls prey easily to changing their plans to please others or never trying because success seems too far away. C. If you’re going to be a good leader, you should know how to work together. Synergizing is the opposite of working independently and always thinking you’re right. The idea of it is that when you work together, you can encounter better and more things than you could alone. Synergy is achieved when two or more people work together to create a better solution. Synergy is celebrating differences, team work, open-mindedness and finding new and better ways. Renew yourself through physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual dimensions. You should just take time to relax and give yourself some tender loving care. It explains to you that you should eat healthy and exercise right. Don’t compare yourself to other people because everyone is made different. Most of all just to have fun while you’re being yourself. C. My habit means that when you are going through life try to collaborate and do things as a team. When you do things as a team you sometimes perform better. By collaborating you can also get good ideas from your peers and make whatever you’re doing better. This chapter also talks about keeping an open mind about things and giving people a chance. Sometimes people tend to prejudge and make up their mind about a person before they even get to know that person. This habit is very important in the school environment and the work environment. C. Habit 5 is an important habit to have in your life for many reasons. Habit 5 teaches you to listen before you try to come up with a solution. If someone is telling you about their problem, before you try to fix it, you must fully listen to their problem so you don’t make any conclusions before they are done talking. This is an important quality to have in a leader because it shows that someone is a good listener, and truly cares about the person they are trying to help. (20/20)

C. Sharpening the Saw is when you renew yourself as an individual. There are for main parts to this habit. They are physical, mental, emotional and spiritual dimensions. The physical part focuses on be healthy physically. This could mean exercising, eating well and sleeping right. The metal part is when you learn new skills such as reading or writing, anything to exercise your brain. The emotional part is building good relationships and just being happy. The spiritual part focuses on praying and being in touch with god. (20/20)

Put first things first means to be a prioritizer. This mean getting everything done on time and not letting things ride to the end, and becoming a protagonist like handing stuff in late or doing it the class before hand so its not your best work. To be a prioratizor is to be the most successful person you can be and set goals for ones self and making sure you finish in plenty of time for your self so you can get it checked and corrected and fix mistakes.

You are actually taking the time to coincider others' ideas' and not just your own. Synergize is celebrating differences instead of making fun of others for not being just like you. It's also teamwork, open-mindedness, finding new and better ways, tolerating differences, working independently, thinking youre always right, and compromise. Synergize is everywhere, everyday. You may not even know that you are part of it. Synergize is an excelent quality to have in a leadder because leaders can't just think of their own ideas, they also need to coincider the ideas' of others aswell. Leaders need to be able to compromise on things with others' and not just pick their idea's over everyone elses' because they think that it's better.(16/20)
